Marzipan is a fabulously sweet but initially somewhat shy little gal! She is a puppy from an Oops litter that happened locally and was taken into rescue before going to the local high kill shelter with her siblings.
Marzipan has had exposure to large and small dogs, horses and goats, and toddlers, and done well! She has also had some mild exposure to a few rescued young cats while she and her siblings were crated - they barked quite a bit initially and then quieted down. :) She also does really well with small children, aside from occasionally getting excited and jumping a little. <3
Marzi is doing well with her crate training, and successfully sleeps overnight crated and is able to spend up to 4 or 5 hours crated during the day without accidents :)
This beautiful girl is available for pre-adoption! She has been dewormed and done a full round of our general anti-parasitic intake treatment. She has started on her puppy vaccines, been microchipped, and will be spayed and finished on rabies by the end of March, at which time her adoption can be finalized! :)
She also comes with a 1-year access to all group training classes through Diamond Dogs Training for her new family to enjoy with her!
Her adoption fee is $200, and helps reimburse some of the costs of her vetting.
