ADOPTION:
REQUIREMENTS & PROCESS

Our adoption requirements and process are as follows:

• Secure, fenced (5 to 6 ft minimum for most dogs) yard or potty/play access area

• Indoor life, with outdoor access (very rarely do we have dogs who prefer outdoor only lives)

• Completed adoption application

• Meet & Greet with dog(s) interested in adopting

• Meet & Greet with existing animals in home - as many as needed for a positive introduction

• Home Check (secure fencing, no toxic/dangerous plants or decor, access to swimming pool restricted or introduction to pool and safe exit training)

• Completed adoption agreement, including agreement that dogs are only returned to rescue - not given away, re-adopted, or turned into shelters or other rescues.
