Foggy and Stormy are a fabulous and incredibly well-behaved pair of sisters who’ve had a bit of a time bouncing around throughout their life. :(
They originally lived on an 80 acre ranch and had free run of the property after both undergoing an extensive Board and Train program to ensure their peaceful co-existence with the many other animals who called the ranch home, including: a herd of cattle, pigs, horses, goats, peacocks, chickens, ducks, wild turkeys, a plethora of other types of birds, and more, as well as the many children and adult visitors who regularly came to the property to visit and for large social events. They unfortunately lost their original home due to ongoing power struggles with a few small-breed dogs who also lived on the property, which resulted very badly for the small dogs. The girls came to rescue, and were later adopted as a pair into a home with 2 other large dogs, and a number of horses/chickens/other farm animals, and continued to do very well, until the older Shepherd in the home began picking on one of the sisters - which, when this would occur, the girls protected each other. While all 3 got along together the majority of the time, and the older female was the instigator, the family was worried major harm would come to one of the three and understandably felt it was best for everyone’s safety to not keep the dogs in the same situation, although it broke their heart to give them up.

The girls LOVE and do well with small children, and even could be fully leash-walked by a 2 year old when they were still in the usual “young/headstrong” age range of 1-2 years old. They are incredibly gentle and sweet, and just long for love, cuddles, and praise from their very own forever person. They are INCREDIBLE girls, and after all this time and everything they’ve been through, and considering how gentle and easy they are, we would now like to find them a forever home where they can continue to live together happily <3

Their adoption fee includes their wellness vet check, fecal testing and antiparasitic treatments, microchip, their DAPP/Bordetella/Rabies vaccines, their spays, and a year of free entry to group obedience classes hosted by Diamond Dogs Training.

We are currently fostered in north east Oregon, and available for adoption/personal transport throughout OR, WA, CA, and western NV/ID!
